Last week we used our promo code to rent: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

This was another that our whole family could watch together. Even several days after watching the movie My almost 3 year old still talks about the ‘lion movie’.

The movie starts off with Alex the lion as a baby and tells how he was captured in the Jungle and sold to the zoo in New York. It then quickly goes over some events from the first Madagascar movie and then the animals becoming stranded in Africa. The animals soon learn that there are whole heards of their species and Alex is reunited with his parents. His father is overjoyed that Alex has returned and will be able to become King after him but another Lion with unkind intentions seeks to change that.
