My daughters loved the Monkey and Me book so much that once that I had to buy another Cherrio box so they could each have a Monkey And Me book of their own. That is really what Cheerio’s goal is – to help children love books.

I was given several Spoonful Of Stories to review: Monkey and Me, When Dinosaurs Came With Everything, The Great Dog Wash and Duck for President. My three year old takes them everywhere with her in her little purse and she has them pretty much memerized!

The Great Dog Wash won a grand prize of $5,000 and Shellie Braeuner, the author will be having her book published by Simon & Schuster! If you are an aspiring Children’s author register for the contest and submit your unillustrated less than 500 words story by July 15, 2009.

PhotobucketI was excited to recently receive a Fiber One Yogurt gift pack which included everything you see in the picture to the left, a coupon for a pack of yogurt, a water bottle, pedometer, fitness journal and a kitchen scale.

My favorite item in the gift pack is the water bottle. It is BPA free and it is so easy for busy moms to grab some water. You just push a button to open the lid and there is a small hole where the water comes out so it is hard to spill. My husband wants a water bottle like it now! It really is so important to drink water to help your body digest the fiber.

One cup of delicious creamy nonfat yogurt will provide you with 20% of your daily fiber intake and only 80 calories. I tried the Peach flavor which I really enjoyed. It is made with real fruits but there are not fruit chunks so it is very smooth and creamy. This yogurt would also be safe for children who, just like adults are not usually getting enough fiber in their diets.
