My one year old received this ‘Melissa And Doug’ fish puzzle for Christmas and after just a couple weeks playing with this puzzle she can match all the colors together! Children love fish and they are excited to learn. This is great puzzle to teach colors and also allow children to mix and match colors to encourage creativity.

The only downfall to this puzzle is that the puzzle becomes ’scuffed’ up easily.

Bissell Lift-Off Revolution Vaccum Review

After using those stick vaccum cleaners for 3 years I decided that I wanted to buy a real vaccum cleaner that would keep my carpets cleaner for my babies crawling around. During a trip to Costco I saw the Bissell Lift-Off Revolution Vaccum that was quite a bit lower than retail price and it looked like a good vaccum.

I was not disappointed upon my first use of this vaccum. It has a powerful suction which removed the deepest particles of dirt. It comes with a turbo brush which works wonderfully for vaccuming furniture. The canister also comes off which makes vaccuming the car really easy. I also love how long the cord is, it really cuts down on the need to unplug and replug the cord so often while vaccuming. The filters are easy to clean. Two are reusable and the HEPA filter needs to be replaced when needed, I haven’t had to replace mine yet. During the 4 months I have had it I have not had any problems with the belt or decrease in effectiveness.

Compared to the stick vaccums this vaccum is amazing to me but there are a few things that I would change. Some cons are.

The handle comes off which is good to fit the vaccum into low closet spaces but the handle repeatedly slips while I am vaccuming.
The instruction booklet says to clean the filters at least once a month or when the canister is full. However I find that to allow for the powerful suctioning power I need to clean the filters out every other time vaccuming and I have a fairly small house.

Chocolate Skittles Review

I love chocolate and I like Skittles so it should be a great combination, right? Well while at a dollar store I spotted the Chocolate Skittles and thought they would satisfy a chocolate craving. Sadly I was wrong. These are the WORST tasting candies I have ever tried and they taste nothing like chocolate. The Chocolate Skittles have a Tootsie Roll like flavour, however I would choose a Tootsie Roll over these skittles any day.

If you still want to try this new candy even after my negative review you may not be at a total loss if you have children. My two year old daughter loves them so I have been giving her one candy each time she uses the potty. Maybe she loves them so much because I hardly ever give her sweets.
